The decision to start therapy can be a difficult one.
I hope the information here will assist you in finding
the right help.
My philosophy for working with people is that
everyone has within them the potential to
heal and grow. Often people seeking therapy
have experienced something that has prevented
them from accessing their own healing potential.
They have lost track or have yet to discover their
own strengths, skills and gifts. As a therapist it is
my privilege to help people move towards their
personal and emotional goals.
In working with Children,
I use, a developmental
approach. I meet the child
where they are
developmentally and their
needs are the compass to
the therapeutic path we
take together. Play therapy
is the primary modality.
When I work with Adults I
incorporate EMDR and
CBT to explore current and
past barriers to personal
growth.

Working with Families is one of my specialities. Families often find themselves in patterns of relating to each other that are ineffective. Family therapy explores, healing wounds, and creating new relationships based on respect, and nurturing behaviors. I ensure that Family therapy is very experiential.
